This cache is located on a newly constructed walking trail named in memory of decorated veteran Major Bertram Butler. A First World War veteran, Butler was with the Blue Puttees, fought in Gallipoli and the Battle of the Somme.
The trailhead starts at the rear of the Hew and Draw hotel and connects to the Three Bear Mountain trail. The trail is a lovely place for a walk in any season and has nice views of downtown.
The cache is a small black pill bottle that contains a logsheet only so BYOP. Some stealth may be required. Should be winter friendly. Happy caching!
