Geocache Description:

Salt Water Creek and New River have a turbulant past. They combine in the Camerons coastal strip where they flow into the Tasman Sea.

The volatile nature of how both waterways combine and form has old roads no longer maintained by council. Salt Water Road is one of them. They can now only be accessed with landholders permission.

This is a rural road and locals are vigilant. Day time hours only please.

The cache can be found a short distance before land owner permission is required to proceed, just before crossing Salt Water Creek. There is good parking and plenty of room to turn.

Please return as found using the available natural cover.
