Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

Geocache Description:


A 100m walk from a parking area takes you to the start of the Kat River Reserve and onto a bike / walking trail to the western side of the Garden Route Dam. The cache is located on a rather obvious structure seen at this point, though do be aware of sharp edges and stinging Hornets devil when sticking your fingers into holes while searching .

NOTE: Take your own pen/pencil.

If yo'ur feeling up to it, a walk of 1-1.5km will bring you out at the edge of the Garden Route Dam, from there, its up to you to follow the well defined paths and walkways as far as you wish to go, some lovely spots to sit and just chill.

Tips: 1) It gets pretty hot in summer so go prepared. 2) Watch out for local wildlife which includes the kind that slither and hiss, never had a problem with them before, just be "aware" when in the bush!  3) Preferably don't go for long walks alone.
