Coldingham Sands Circular is an 8-cache series taking you on a short saunter from the free car park at Coldingham Sands along the historic Creel Path to St Abbs and back along the Coastal Path to the beach and then up through the wooded valley of Milldown Burn. The walk should take no longer than an hour - plus however long it takes you to find the caches. Parts of the Creel Path may be muddy after wet weather and the walk includes a flight of steps down to the beach. The circuit will therefore be challenging for push-chairs and next to impossible for wheelchairs.
The route is geohound friendly. The beach itself has restrictions on dogs during the summer, but these seem to be largely ignored. I have tried to make the caches child-friendly, but can't guarantee that there won't be nettles at some of the GZs during the summer.
Starting from the car park follow the lane directly opposite along the side of St Vedas until you come to a footpath on the left hand side. Your adventure starts here!
