Caching and reading are two of my favorite things. What better way to celebrate caching than to combine them?
As a parent, I know how much my son loved when I read to him any time, day or night, but bedtime stories were truly special. From the time he was tiny, we enjoyed books together that made us laugh, catch our breath, taught us things, and made us want to read more. As a teacher, I know that reading aloud to young children is the best way to jump start their learning. The time spent together is always cherished by little ones too. I hope you enjoy this caching series!
Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak, is an imaginative book about Max when he gets to be the king of the wild things. This cache is located where you might witness the wild things creating a wild rumpus. Warning: If you bring your little one, this will not be a cache and dash. They will want to stay a while.
