Geocache Description:

SLO

V Šentlenartu je podružnična cerkev sv. Lenarta.

EN

In Šentlenart there is a church of St. Lenart. It was first mentioned in 1443. At the time of the Reformation, it was the only Catholic shrine in the area of today's parish. The rectangular nave, with a facade bell tower, dates from 1840, and the foundations of the heavily elevated three-eighth-grade presbytery date back to the 15th century. Today the statue of St. Lenart, a former altar painting by Baroque master Anton Cebe, is kept by the Posasvski muzej in Brežice. Near the church of St. Lenart is a chapel of the tomb of God from the middle of the 17th century and belongs to IV. the type of t.i. Jerusalem chapels. The Exterior Cross Way led from Rokova or perhaps from the former Franciscan Church to the aforementioned chapels. Unfortunately, only two stone reliefs from the station at the Church of Sts. The arms, which were recently built into the façade of the Church of the Rock, and today are awaiting the possible erection of the sign, as it stood before 1960.

Toys are for exchange, but please leave small containers in the cache.
