Come celebrate 20+ years of Geocaching with us. Here is a chance to see old friends, meet new ones and learn about this great (insert: Game, Passion, or Obsession) of finding 'treasure boxes' worldwide.
bcrockcrawler will be sharing some information on what geocaching was like in the early 2000's. Yes it will be one of those "Well back in my day.." kind of thing. He will endeavour to make it interesting and will be brief.
Unfortunately, refreshments will not be available, but we encourage you to bring a warm drink of your own choice and dress for the weather. There is a picnic shelter here so should it be damp, there will be a dry area. If it is damp on event day, please bring umbrellas so that social distancing can be maintained and wear a mask if the accepted distance cannot be observed.
While dogs are allowed in the Park, a reminder that they must be leashed at all times and you're expected to clean up after them. There are lots of rabbits in the general area of the event and you can be fined for feeding them. (Or allowing your dog to chase them)

This Event is part of a limited release of Community Celebration Events to celebrate 20 years of geocaching. Geocachers hosted some events between May 2, 2020 and December 31, 2020 while others were delayed and can be held up to December 2021.
