Christmas is a favourite time for families and friends to get together, and friendly geocachers are no exception. In order to interfere minimally with Christmas travel, and last minute Christmas shopping, and out of consideration with those who need to work during the day, I've scheduled this one in the evening, a couple of days before Christmas Eve, hence the event title -- Christmas Eve Eve Eve.
I'm hoping for this to be a chance for local and visiting geocachers to greet old friends and possibly make new ones, share stories and perhaps a few hints, exchange holdiday greetings, potentially plan joint geocaching outings, and maybe even leave with a cache container for placing your own caches. But all of this is completely optional -- Even if you're mute, or a curmudgeon, never make eye contact or shake hands, or never accept things from strangers, you're equally welcome to attend! And for the paranoid among you, there will be a log sheet, but signing it will be optional.
