Geocache Description:

11 July 2020, 11:00 - 14:00

I am often geocaching in what I think is the middle of nowhere, and I grumble to myself, "why would someone place a geocache here?" ... and then I get to ground zero - and I see the view or the art or the reason for the location. This is one of those times. *grin* This geocaching event is also in honor of my 12th geocaching anniversary, when I found my first cache accidentally on top of a ridge during a rafting trip.

SamuelStem and GEOregon invite you for a brown bag picnic and meet and greet, to visit the Boeing 727 Airplane Home of Bruce Campbell, at 15270 SW Holly Hill Rd., Hillsboro, Oregon 97123 on July 11 from 11 am - 2 pm. Webpage:

This is a BYO lunch picnic. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. We are allowed to explore the woods and the inside of the airplane home. There will be a raffle and games, courtesy of GEOregon. All ages are welcome. Children should be supervised, especially near/on the airplane. Please CITO your trash. There are ample parking and signage to direct you onto the property. This event is on private property with permission and there will be a liability waiver to read and agree to when you arrive.
