I am often geocaching in what I think is the middle of nowhere, and I grumble to myself, "why would someone place a geocache here?" ... and then I get to ground zero - and I see the view or the art or the reason for the location. This is one of those times. *grin* This geocaching event is also in honor of my 12th geocaching anniversary, when I found my first cache accidentally on top of a ridge during a rafting trip.

This is a BYO lunch picnic. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. We are allowed to explore the woods and the inside of the airplane home. There will be a raffle and games, courtesy of GEOregon. All ages are welcome. Children should be supervised, especially near/on the airplane. Please CITO your trash. There are ample parking and signage to direct you onto the property. This event is on private property with permission and there will be a liability waiver to read and agree to when you arrive.
