Geocache Description:

18 November 2022, 18:00 - 20:00

Slurpee_Faced and I have been hosting these Winter Warmer events since 2015 and have decided to keep 'em going! This one will be the only one of the 2022/2023 season and the first one since 2020!

Winter can be a bleak time for caching: it's cold, dark, wet and there are wolves outside. Join us for a series of evening events designed to get us in from the cold.

Friday, 18th November 2022 at The Cheese Rollers
at 18:00 until 20:00

The event itself is an incredibly informal get together. Feel free to join us or just stop by to put your name in the logbook - however you want to participate is fine with us.

If you'd like to have a meal at the pub, feel free to make your own arrangements: we weren't planning on making a group reservation.

Killer - Contest for First to Find
As has been the case with other events held at The Cheese Rollers we will be staging a contest for the unofficial prize of "First to Find" at 18:15.

All attendees are invited to participate, if they want to.

Rules of Killer
  • Each entrant has three "lives"
  • Every player bowls one ball per turn
  • The skittles are not reset until all pins are knocked down
  • If a player fails to knock down at least one pin, they lose a life
  • Once a player loses all their lives, they are out of the game
  • The winner is the last player with a life intact
The contest will be held with the additional, customary stipulation:
  • If one of the COs win the contest, the FTF prize is shared equally by all attendees (it has happened!)
