Our geocaching journey started on the 2nd September 2009 when we were introduced to this hobby by our son, rhesusfactor (Andrew). He came to visit and mentioned Geocaching and that there was a cache 300 metres away from our house. Well we just had to go have a look at what we would find. That cache was Peatmoss (GCYBJD). That was 13 years ago... Since then we have thoroughly enjoyed this obsession of finding Tupperware in the Bush. We have used Geocaching as a tourist guide on some of our holidays (Tasmania, Hervey Bay, Palau, just to name a few).
We have met so many wonderful people while geocaching and attending events, that we have decided to hold our Community Celebration Event and Anniversery event. Join us to celebrate your geocaching anniversary as well.
There are BBQ's nearby if you wish to cook a sausage or two. Playground for the kids for when they get bored and a basketball court too.
We have also hidden 27 geocaches around our area that you might like to find if you haven't already done so.
We will be here for the duration of the event. Look forward to seeing you all.
