I was awarded a community clebration event in the first tranch in 2020, not long after I had hosted the last BBH before the first lockdown . as a means of celebrating in a different way I have waited until now when it looks promising to host a comeback lambing event .
We keep a flock of rare breeed Portland sheep - 24 were put to a tup back in November and they should start lambing in late February . We do not have them scanned so no guarantees. I have chosen this date becasue we should have quite a few arrivals in a 5 day window around this time .
The event will be outside and unless the Covid situation improves there will be no indoor access even for the toilet unlike previous years.
Attendees are welcome to bring cake provided any remaining is taken away as the CO is on a long term diet which bans cake.
I will provide updates as the Covid situation develops and whne lambing starts .
