This Geocaching event is a meet-and-greet social at the Phillips Park Pavallion in Holmdel. To earn this special Community Celebration Event icon, simply stop by Phillips Park between 12:30pm and 4:15pm to sign the log book.

Scavenger Hunt Details
- Hunt starts at 1:00pm at the CCE event in Phillips Park.
- Teams should gather around at 12:50pm to hear an intro & guidelines.
- Lists will be handed out promptly at 1:00pm.
- Most items are Physical finds -- you must turn them in for scoring. No coords provided for such items, but they are mostly things you might find along the Ramanessin Greenway network of trails from Phillips Park to the Greenway Nature Trail near Village School.
- Non-physical items are Answers to Questions or Required Photos at the coords provided.
- Suggested Equipment: GPSr or Smartphone w/GPS. Device for taking a few digital or instant photos. Vehicle. Trail or old shoes.
- Each item will earn 1 pt or 5 pts, depending on difficulty, as indicated on the list.
- A team can only earn points for an item once. If the item is an Acorn, a team can only earn points for 1 Acorn even if it turns in 10 Acorns.
- The hunt ends at 4:00pm. Each team must return to Phillips Park by 4:00pm to hand in their loot for scoring.
- Loot will be returned once scored.
- Winners will be announced as soon as scoring has completed after the 4:00pm finish.
- Teams are encouraged to log a Will Attend to receive announcements & assist with planning.
Note: The Ramanessin Brook is often named Hop Brook on maps. Not sure why. Perhaps Ericles or JimmyG know?
