Leeds Drink and Chat is turning 40!

Sam539, MatthewGibbs and I had this grand idea back in January 2018 to try and get a regular midweek event off the ground in the centre of Leeds. When we started this series I never thought we'd get to 20 never mind 40, but despite a pandemic and everything else the world has thrown at us here were event 40!

So come along and join us for the best 40th Birthday party ever for an event. It's a birthday so of course there will be cake and hopefully some balloons too. Everyone is welcome to the event wether you've been to one before or not. 

The event will be at The Bankers Cat, 29 Boar Ln, Leeds LS1 5DA, we'll be in the vault which is downstairs. There isn't a bar downstairs so grab a drink before you head down. We'll be there from 18:30 to 21:30, but I'm sure a few people will stay longer than that. We're a friendly bunch, so cachers old and new are welcome. If you haven't been to an event before, drop me a message beforehand and I'll look out for you. 

Food - The venue doesn't serve food but there is food available nearby and we'll have cake down in the vault with us. 

How to get there:

By train - Leeds railway station is less then 5 minutes walk from venue.

By bus - Leeds City Bus Station is a 20 minute walk away. Many busses also stop nearby on Boar Lane, which is a short walk from the venue.

By car - The closest multi storey is Trinity Leeds, which is £4.00 after 17:00 and about 2 minutes walk from the venue.
