Snoqualmie Valley Community Celebration Event / Torguson Park CITO
WOW! Can you believe that we have been Geocaching for 20 22 years? Our family has only been Geocaching since 2014, but we have found so many amazing caches, met so many amazing people and have been part of some fantastic events! One small bucket of goodies in the woods has turned into a worldwide game with over 3 million active caches worldwide! We invite you to come along with us and let us experience the next 20 22 years together!

The Event
Torguson Park is located at the foot of Mt. Si., which is where this event will take place! The event will consist of two parts (see schedule bellow) but first, here is everything you need to know:
When: August 7th, 9:30am - 12:00pm Torguson Park
Where: Torguson Park Picnic Shelter (Note: If the shelter is occupied, we will set up nearby.)
Address: 750 E North Bend Way, North Bend, WA 98045
Why: To celebrate our wonderful hobby, hang out with fellow geocachers and to make the world a better place!
What: A CITO* (to give back to mother nature through our hobby)(Note: The CITO is part of THIS event not a diffent one, so only one smily, sorry!), cake, scavenger hunt around the park, get to know you BINGO, raffle, new cache series, two group photos and a special log avaliable to sign to commarate the occasion.
Who: YOU of corse! Feel free to bring your muggle friends to! (Note: When logging your will attend, please note how many people will be attending. This will let us know how many people will be attending so we can bring enough supplies and materials.)

Here is some more information regarding spcific components of the event:
CITO
We will be focusing on cleaning up the park and adjacent trail to the North (Snoqualmie Valley Trail (SVT)). Cacheingcants will provide gloves, trashbags and trash grabbers. Feel free to bring any of your own equipment to use.
Scavenger Hunt
A list of GPS coordinates will be handed out will several locations on it. Your task is to visit all of the locations and find the piece of paper with and image and code word on it. Two completed and correct passports will be selected at random and win a prize! All locations will be inside the park.
Get to know you BINGO
We will hand out a BINGO card with differnt caching accomplishments on it. Your task is to chat with other Geocachers at the event and have them sign a space with a challenge that they have completed. Two BINGO cards with at least one BINGO will be selected at random and win a prize!
Cache Series
A series of 6 caches will be published one week before the event. Find all of the caches and write the corresponding code word on the passport. (Code words are locted either on the lid of the cache container or the logbook.) A completed and correct passport will be selected at random to win a 2020 Community Celebration Geocoin! A runner up will receive a random Geocoin (not a Community Celebration Geocoin). Passport link will be avilable below during the last week of July. Passports will need to be printed out at home and will need to be completed upon arrival at the event.
