Geocache Description:

29 August 2020, 10:00 - 12:00

Welcome one and all to this year's Winter Solstice. It's slightly later than normal but - COVID. This is a large undercover area which has significant historical aspects for Canberrans. During this community event, there will be lucky door prizes (based upon your number in the signed log book), there will be games including bingo and trivia and there will be food available. Dogs are allowed in the local area, but if you are going to bring your geohounds, please make sure they are secured at all times - there are to be no dogs off lead at any time. Wet weather option will be us underneath the shed cover - if it is too wet (large puddles) - then I will postpone the event. As this is a community event, I would love to see new faces as well as the old. There will be trackables to trade and discover, as well as PTs to trade. There will be disposable cutlery and plates as well as hand sanitiser available - not good for the environment but good for humans at this time. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
