Community Celebration Event
Sunday, Sundaes, Sun daze
A wise cacher once said, “All events should have ice cream or beer”.
An annual event tradition and what better way to celebrate being able to see each other once again!!!
... And I was just told that it's International Ice Cream Day on Sunday the 18th... This is just meant to be!
Come and make sundaes! Yum, yum… Fun for the whole geofamily! Or just come by and meet up to say hello! I will also set up my inaugural run of my geocaching photo booth so you can take mask on or mask off photos with your geobuddies!!!
Meet at the gazebo in Peace Park at the coordinates. 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. If it rains, we can at least take cover. If you want to sit while you’re there, bring your own chair! Geodogs are more than welcome if they are happy in an environment with lots of people and probably plenty of kids… Ice cream tends to draw out the wee ones. There is lots of street parking all around.
We need you to log how many people are coming so we can figure out how much we need. Please don't leave it to the last minute so you show up and we don't have enough...
It is OPTIONAL to bring anything for toppings/ice cream, but if you care to share in ingredients, please indicate in your log what you will bring to share off this list (or freestyle some selections). Alternatively, you are welcome to donate a little to contribute to the purchase of these yummy things! If you are lactose intolerant, you may want to bring your own ice cream so you can just enjoy the toppings! You can ad lib a little with toppings, just let me know and I’ll update things if you chose to sign up!
Masks are not mandatory at events, but in light of just getting out of this shutdown, please do consider bringing one to at least wear while you are at the table making up your sundae. I will bring lots of sanitizer to clean hands before touching anything at the table. Let's be super safe so we can keep being together!
