On 24th June 2002 a bunch of cachers met at this very location in the Lerderderg State Park for the 1st VIC Cache Event Picnic.
From this small event in 2002, events have certainly grown over the past twenty years. Events are a great opportunity to meet up with old friends, make new ones, share caching stories, and ask lots of questions.
Come along and help celebrate 20 years of events in Victoria.
Whilst you can no longer have a campfire here, we will have a gas hotplate going cooking some snags. BYO other food.
With events in Victoria spanning 20 years and lots of caching during that time, there are bound to be some great stories. We would love to hear some of your crazy or unique caching stories on the day.
