Come Celebrate the 22nd Anniversary of Caching in California!!
(This was supposed to be the 20th Anniversary but COVID-19 and SoCal fires have delayed this event by 2-years.)
Phil's Memorial Cache (Oldest CA. Cache) was published as GC5B on September 10, 2000 and is the oldest active cache in the State. Meet at Phil's for some refreshments, socializing and (at about 10:30 am) a picture. After the group picture, everyone is more than welcome to spend the rest of the day hiking around the many, many trails in this beautiful area.
This will also be a de facto M*A*S*H Awards Banquet as we will be handing out medals, coins and certificates to those who have qualified for the various San Diego Halls of Fame in the last couple of years. Click here for a listing of all HoF caches.

Remember that you will need an Adventure Pass to park at the trailhead. They can be purchased at the Laguna Mountain Lodge and Store as well as most sporting good stores and many other locations as well. The cost is $5 for a day pass, but the better value is for an annual pass which is $30/year (plus an additional $5 if you buy a second vehicle pass). Consider carpooling as well, as parking can fill up here on the weekends.
