The quest for caches across the Nation's Capital is on again and we're counting on you to join in on the adventure, because "Adventure is out there!"
Most of you seasoned adventurers already know how this works, but for those of you who say, "I never look back, darling. It distracts from the now," or for the ones who've completed so many quests that now have a hard time remembering that, “You are a toy!,” here is what you need to know:
- At 6:00 PM on the 25th after a LONG day of caching, we will meet at Vincent-Massey park near the intersection of Heron Road and Riverside Drive (posted coordinates). BBQ pits (filled with hot coals) and maybe some more modern contraptions will be available to grill whatever you choose to bring. Yes, in order to keep costs down for everyone, it is a bring your own food and drinks event!
IMPORTANT NOTE : no alcoholic beverages allowed in Vincent-Massey park.
- Visit the events section of our local forum for additional information,
ask questions, or suggest ideas.
- All kids (big and small) like to go home with prizes, and they always look forward to that part of the evening. CCC will be supplying the fantastic door prizes as usual.
- If you have any ideas to add to this event, please send us an email and we will try to incorporate them.
- Please post a note on this page indicating if you can make it and how many will be in your party.
Happy hiding and seeking! See you on the 25th or on the trails....
