Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the beginning (or end) of the 3 mile Nopales Ridge Trail in Lake Brownwood State Park.  Here there is a sign that describes the trail.  This is a 3 mile loop trail so you can go either way on your hike. If you take the trail to the right it is one mile to the other trailhead at the ranger station and entrance.  If you go left it will be a 2 mile hike to the park entrance station.

This would be a good park and grab if you are not interested in hiking the trail.  Unlike the 1 Mile cache which is large this cache is quite small and camouflaged so as to not be easily discovered.  Take care (be gentle) not to damage the cache as it is somewhat fragile and it is tethered.  A quick grab and pull could really damage this one.

Enjoy hiking the Nopales Ridge Trail and keep an eyeout for wildlife, especially deer.  Explore all the park has to offer as you seek to find the many geocaches that have been hidden for your enjoyment.
