This cache is in the Glenorchy and Innishail Community Orchard and Wild Woodland Garden. This is a community garden and orchard on the bank of the River Orchy near to Glenorchy Church. The most convenient parking spot is in the car park for Glenorchy Church, which is well worth a look while there. A church was recorded here in 1390 and the present octagonal church building of was constructed in 1811.
Leave the car park and follow the road (B8077) beyond the church for approximately 250 metres. The community garden and orchard is on the right and is signposted. If you cross the river on the Old Orchy Bridge, you have gone too far, though it is definitely worth a walk on to the bridge for the wonderful views of the river and the Cruachan mountain range to the west.
Enter the community garden and explore. There is a network of paths, a covered picnic area, bird feeders and a pebble beach at the river with perfect stones for skimming (children will need to be supervised at the river bank, as it can be fast flowing after rain). Find the exercise equipment and the cache is close by!
