Geocache Description:

This multi will bring you in front of the bronze monument honouring William Berczy, the founder of Markham.

As you're facing the monument, look to your left to see a white plaque explaining the monument.  On the plaque, find the year William Berczy was designated a National Historic Person.  Take the last two digits of that year (AA) and add them to the North coordinates of stage 1.  Then substact 17 from your answer. (AA + 844 - 17)  This will give you your North coordinates for the final.

To the right of the monument, you will see another plaque (maroon coloured).  Find the number of German settlers William Berczy brought to Upper Canada (BBB).  Add this number to the West coordinates of stage 1.  Then substract 139 from your answer.  (BBB + 791 - 139)  This will give you your West coordinates for the final.

Please return cache where found.
