This is a simple cache hidden in the historical Mexia Memorial Cemetery. There is no historical marker here, nor could I find much information online to share with you. It appears to serve the African American residents of the city. There are several WWI and WWII veterans buried here.
There is a small, seperate area with graves outside the fence for some reason, and is worth a look-at.
You will be looking for a matchstick holder.
Please enter the cemetery during daylight hours. But you knew that.
