Rolley Lake Provincial Park is about an hours drive from Vancouver providing a quick escape from urban life. The park is a wilderness area blanketed with tall, second-growth conifers and many hiking trails. The small, warm-water lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, and canoeing.
There are sixty-four campsites nestled in the trees just minutes from the lakeshore but they are closed in the winter time but visitors can still park on the paved Road (Bell Street)and walk in.
Rolley Falls and Lake Trail is a 4.7 kilometer loop trail and is good for all skill levels but remember that it is about 2 kms longer in winter due to parking restrictions. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Enjoy the walk to this cache. You will find this cache hanging high up on a tree on the uphill side of the trail. I placed this cache while on the main trail but you may have to retrieve this from the opposite direction. GPSr might bounce you around quite a bit. Have fun!
