Geocache Description:

This is part of a series along the new Waco Riverwalk. The Chisholm Trail was a trail used by longhorn ranchers to herd cattle from south Texas to Kansas. The route went through Waco at the present-day suspension bridge. Although the routel started in the 1840s, the suspension bridge was completed and opened in 1870. From this location you will get a good view of the Waco suspension bridge.
