Geocache Description:

The Big Six
XXVII

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates

But what is found at the posted coordinates is the historical Old Man's Valley Cemetery.

It's hard to ignore the rumours, especially the one about a clandestine group of fans of the Twenty Seven Club. It's said that they buried a guitar case full of Twenty Seven Club merch and memorabilia inside a coffin in the cemetery, and marked it with a secretly coded headstone.

When you consider that none of the Twenty Seven Club lived to reach even middle age, the irony of a memorial in Old Man's Valley was clearly lost on these misguided fans...

Sadly the historical headstones in the cemetery were vandalised in recent years. Despite the subsequent impressive restoration work, the fans of the Twenty Seven Club decided it was necessary to relocate their casket full of treasure.

This came to light recently when a local bush regeneration group reported that something in the cemetery had obviously been disinterred. They also say they found a note apparently left behind, and that it contained a seemingly indecipherable set of letters and numbers.

Those who have been closely following the antics of the fans of the the Twenty Seven Club believe the key to finding the missing merch and memorabilia lies in solving hidden tributes to each of The Big Six:

Amy, Brian, Janis, Jim, Jimi and Kurt.
