Doing some computer tasks on New year's Eve, I had the television on as background noise. A segment about words no longer to be used in 2020 caught my attention. One of the words to be discarded was the word "jelly". I agree with the announcers that it was a strange choice. What do I call my breakfast grape jelly - grape preserves I suppose.? What do you call a bowl of jelly - jello by its trade name ?
This poses a problem for the poor jellyfish. What do you now call it? In your log, please include a suggested new name for this poor creature. Be creative.
