A tribute to a geocaching friend
I hate geocaching by myself and only do it as a last resort. Therefore, I am putting out a series of geocaches in tribute to those cachers who are crazy enough to go with me on a somewhat regular basis.
I first met Triple_P at GeoWoodstock 2018. It was there we decided to go out on one day geocaching adventures which might include my friend br549* and/or his friend littlepod. On the “run list” Triple_P included geocaches I could reach via my power chair or recumbent tricycle. While on these outings I was not treated as a handicapped individual, but as one of the gang. I loved this! Later Triple_P planned one day trips where he and I could do a “run list” where all geocaches could be accessed via power chair or tricycle such as Miami Whitewater Forest County Park, Hocking Adena Bikeway and Richland County B&O Bike Trail. On the B&O bike trail I rode 11 miles and snagged 70 geocaches which is a personal best. It is so awesome having friends who when confronted with your limitations don’t disappear, but instead make it a point to support you.
Note: This geocache is only available from dawn until dusk! No nighttime caching permitted!
