Being big supporters a fine tea, we felt the need to set up a few hides to offset the coffee lovers hides on Whidbey Island. This first one is about just plain black tea, which most of us have drunk at one time or another whatever the brand name. Usually made from Celyon leaves, often from broken pieces rather than the full leaf, it is readily available and becomes a good base for many flavored teas such a Earl Gray or Bliueberry tea to name a couple. The American penchant for tea bags as opposed to properly brewed full leaf tea definitely falls into the category of broken pieces, perhaps as a rebuff for the Boston Tea Party. That still does not interfere with the enjoyment of a hot, warming cup of tea. Ps watch out for spiders!
Congrats to crouchcrew, the fast lady from Whidbey Island for first of 5 ftf's on the tea series today shortly after it was published👏
