IMPORTANT - This puzzle is done differently from the normal Adventure Lab bonus. The answers to the questions in this cache are NOT revealed in the Adventure Lab itself so please read the description carefully before you start.
Welcome to the bonus cache associated with my Adventure Lab cache - "Chester Canal". It will take you on a walk of around 1.75 miles along the canal through Chester. This is a linear walk and the cache is placed closer to the end than the beginning. I have not supplied any parking co-ordinates as there are plenty of options available and some people will prefer to park near the beginning and walk back while others will want to leave their car nearer the end of the trail. The given waypoint is the start of the Adventure Lab
To complete the Adventure Lab, you will need to download the Adventure Lab App to your smart phone, then 'Search this Area'. Adventure Labs are not displayed on the Geocaching map.
If you get yourself organised you should be able to complete this cache and the Adventure Lab at the same time. The Adventure contains the five required waypoints that will also allow you to complete this bonus cache. At each waypoint there is a question to answer for the adventure and a question to answer for the bonus. The only exception is the final waypoint where there will be 2 questions to answer for the bonus. Note that the questions are NOT interchangeable but they are all in order.
There is a very explicit hint for this cache which will be revealed at some point within the Adventure Lab so pay attention. With the aid of this hint there should be no need to spend time searching, you should be able to grab it unnoticed, walk away, sign it and return without any difficulty. This cache is designed purely to draw attention to the Adventure Lab.
Bonus cache questions to answer:
A = The sign directly to the right of the information board contains 2 words. A = Number of letters in the first word minus 2.
B = Nearby there are a number of posts marking the end of the road. B = Number of posts minus 3
C = Count the number of steps to the right of the information board (2 digits). Deduct the 1st digit from the 2nd digit to get C
D = The picture looking east towards the city's industrial quarter was taken circa 19D0
E = Timber Yard = E
F = Buildings were built for F A Frost & Sons in 18F4
