Did you know that Wisconsin is a great state for a rockhounding ADVENTURE? Who knew! Our state is noted for its enormous iron ore deposits and gemstones are found quite commonly. The Lake Superior agate is found in every county. Collectors may also find a diamond - especially in the counties around Milwaukee!
Do NOT get your hopes up as it is very doubtful that you will find any diamonds here, even though you are in a county near Milwaukee, but you just might find something else!
