UPDATE. Tacoma Metro Parks have done major renovations on this park. Man has reclaimed the area. This cache is located in Swan Creek Park. One of the larger parks in Tacoma with its total acreage of 373 acres. The park includes a salmon-bearing stream, wooded canyon, upland forest, paved and natural trails, a community garden, and mountain bike trails. Lister Uplands was a WWII housing project. The first families moved into Salishan in May of 1943. In May of 1951 the city demolished the neighborhood letting nature take it back. Please watch out for muggles.
