Third attempt at this one.
The first cache was hidden in the roots at this location: "Willow Beach". Unfortunately, with the high water levels, and winter storms, the cache was covered in about 2 feet of rocks. I even dug down to see if it was there, but it was gone.
That led to the second placement, "Revisiting Willow Beach". The cache was nicely tucked into a small knot in the tree, about 8 or 9 feet up. But unfortunately, the Summer Muggles got to this one. After all, doesn't everyone have the desire to stick their fingers into a tree hole?
So here we are, Atempt Number 3. For this one, I had to go higher. Oh, you can see the cache from the ground, it's a bronze coloured bison tube. But getting to it might be a bit of a challenge. I sure hope this one lasts, otherwise I'm going to have to rent a bucket truck for the next hide.
