This cache is placed at the start of the Cannon Trail near Cannon Rocks where thirteen other caches are placed along this trail. Bring your own pen.
The trail of 7km starts at the Cannons in Cannon Rocks. The trail meanders through coastal shrub and trees in the Woody Cape section of the Addo National Park and turns seaward once the sand dunes are reached. The return is via a beautiful sandy beach. The estimated duration is listed as three to four hours and is suitable for relaxed walkers. The trail is well maintained.
This cache is placed at the start of the hike under the shade of the trees right next to the trail, no need to leave the trail to find it.
