This cache replaces my old Kayak/Canoe Launch- Niantic River cache, which kept getting muggled. And yes, you can still launch a kayak here and explore the river. I wouldn't go out to the bay under the bridge, the current can be quite strong in both directions. You are looking for a small container large enough for a log. Enjoy this location!
