Welcome to Moreton Bay's very own local social gathering!
This has been an idea I've toyed with for a number of months being aware of a number of groups outside our region holding regular catch-up events for their locals. After throwing the idea past a few other Moreton Bay locals, we agreed to get something organised. Someone suggested Bracken Ridge Library for its somewhat central location, ease of access from a number of main roads and shiny new facilities.
We hope to make this a regular monthly occurance and have asked the library to set aside a meeting room on the last Wednesday of every month from 6pm to 7.30pm. The meeting room is accessible from within the library and the event is during normal opening hours allowing you to make use of the facilities while you are there.
The librarians (like all good librarians) have an understanding/awareness of geocaching and are very welcoming of our idea.
Please log your will attend so we have a rough idea on how many to expect at our first catchup. Nothing formal planned for this event, but hopefully we can take away some ideas for future events.
Parking is available below the library. As you turn in from Bracken Street you will see the undercover carpark driveway. Accessible parking and access is available if you head up the ramp on your right. Lift access also available.
