Geocache Description:

Scrabo Country Park

Scrabo Tower was built in 1857 in memory of the 3rd Marquis of Londonderry. Scrabo Country Park is at the top of Scrabo Hill near Newtownards and boasts incredible views over Strangford Lough and the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of paths through the fine beech woodlands of Killynether Wood and around the disused quarries allowing visitors many opportunities to enjoy the quiet and peaceful countryside.

At the posted coordinates you will find a notice board with illustrations, information and a telephone number.

The final coordinates are:  N54 34.ABC W005 43.DEF

A = How many large windows are on the illustration of the main tower.

B = The number of quarries in the park.

C = The 5th  digit of the telephone number. (NB This has an old dialing code!)

D = The 1st  digit of the telephone number.

E = The number of steps to the top of the tower minus 115.

F = The number of distinct areas to explore plus the number of windows in A above.

Check Sum: A + B + C + D + E + F = 32

Please bring your own pen and tweezers and be careful to replace the cache as found.
