Someone somewhere once said something about how all SGL gates should have a cache. This one didn't...until today.
So, come find an easy ammo can just past a rather isolated SGL gate. This spot is also one option for parking to hike up the mountain to "Way Up Here!" (GC322MT), a great nearby (but tougher) cache from which this hide derives its name. I never was able to figure out how to get to the coordinates listed in that description...
Access to the gate is via Hemlock Rd, right across Route 22 from Etna Furnace Rd. Please drive slowly and carefully here, as this gravel road cuts through a private farm and past a few homes before entering the State Game Lands. There is no winter maintenance along this unpaved road and some sections can be quite bumpy, so use appropriate caution.
