When Collin County was founded in 1846, the boundries were determined to run up against six other Texas counties. When I was a child growing up here, without the means to go where I wanted to whenever, it was a rare and facinating occurance to leave the boundries of the county. Now that I have advanced past that barrier, I am honoring my inherent curiosity by placing a series of caches in close proximity to the collin county line. In this instance, travelers on Headquarters Dr. cross over into Denton Co. upon passing the Frito-Lay headquarters to their left. This cache is placed in a very common location but parking might be tricky during peak hours.
