FRANCE
France is a EU country primarily located in Western Europe, although it also includes several overseas regions and territories. The metropolitan area of France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. It is bordered by Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany to the northeast, Switzerland and Italy to the east, and Andorra and Spain to the south. The overseas territories include French Guiana in South America and several islands in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. The country's 18 integral regions (five of which are situated overseas) span a combined area of 643,801 square kilometres (248,573 sq mi) and a total population of 67.02 million (as of July 2019). France is considered a great power in global affairs, being one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, and is a nuclear-weapon state. It is a leading member state of the European Union and the Eurozone, and a member of the Group of 7, NATO, OECD, the WTO and La Francophonie.

Vous commencerez à l'emplacement affiché. Vous n'avez pas besoin de sortir de votre voiture aux coordonnées affichées si vous souhaitez trouver le cache, mais vous devrez vous y rendre pour obtenir les informations nécessaires à l'ouverture du cache.
En partant des coordonnées affichées, dirigez-vous vers le sud puis l'ouest jusqu'à ce que vous arriviez à un panneau d'arrêt. Réinitialisez l'odomètre de votre voiture.
Allez vers l'est, traversez l'autoroute et continuez sur la même route jusqu'à ce que votre compteur kilométrique indique 1,8 kilomètre.
A droite, un petit bosquet d'arbres. Dans ce bosquet se trouve un grand tas d'arbres tombés qui contiennent la cache. Si vous êtes au bon endroit, le dernier chiffre de votre nord devrait indiquer 7 et l'ouest devrait indiquer 4.
Important Note:
The road immediately adjacent to the cache can be busy at times (i.e. workdays), so it is not advisable to park here during times when there is traffic. You may wish to park on the side road approximately 200 meters west of the cache.
Cache is a large ammo can, and contains a letterbox stamp. This is not a trade item, so please leave it in the cache.

1. This CARW2020 cache will be published about 6pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
2. This cache has been placed for the CARW event with the intention that it not be located prior to 9:00 a.m. Saturday February 22, 2020. The caches for the CARW event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes and strategies prior to the event start.
3. Should you hunt and find this cache before the event start, it will not count for the event, and FTF points are only valid as of 9AM February 22nd.
