Need to maintain a streak? Looking for a quick find? Here's a cache for you!
Recently, I've been trying to maintain a long streak and that's not always easy to do, especially close to home or work. So, inspired by a series of caches we did in SW Ontario back in September, I'm going to try to make that easier for other folks or for cachers just looking for an easy find, gradually building to a whole bunch of easy finds. This is one of a series of easy park and grabs that will eventually reach all the way into town, or at least to within a few hundred metres of the beginning of the sidewalk. Every time one publishes, I'll go out and find a spot for the next, trying to keep them a couple of hundred metres apart but hopefully without too much muggle visibility. You'll be looking for an uncamoflaged bison tube, probably brightly coloured, on the back or side of a hydro pole, fence post, or tree.
The shoulders along Bridge Street are mostly pretty good, but that's a bit variable in the winter depending on how much snow has fallen recently.
Note: a couple of the attributes are seasonal. Ticks have been bad the last couple of years, and at certain times of the year or under certain conditions, there can be A LOT of water in the ditches. These may or may not apply to any particular cache in the series. Happy caching!
