On another note. Please, there are still 4 TB's not logged out of the event. I logged out the leftovers that I took home. I know I handed the submanaz1 to someone, so he could travel with it. I since then I placed it in the event instead of having him grab it from me. I didn't want to give it more miles if I didn't have it in my possession. This is the last announcement, as I am going to close this event. All who are going to log their attended must have and I hope the TB's get logged properly so they can be on their way.

(Maybe someone who doesn't know and is new to travel bugs...the item you picked out of the green pan is not SWAG, they are travel bugs. )

Even though the event will be archived, you will still be able to log those TB's. Please, go find them if you forgot you took one. The owners are looking forward to watching their travels.

Carole, subman's wife, aka MrsSubman, wanted to have an event to honor her late husband who we all knew well in the geocaching world.. And so we are having this event in subman's honor.
It will be nice to get together to talk all things geocaching and say a fond fairwell to a seasoned geocacher subman, who passed away while doing what he loved to do. While Mault was waiting for Geo-Woodstock in TX, (May 2019) to happen the next day, he was geocaching and was involved in an untimely accident.

RIP subman. You will be greatly missed.

This will be on a Saturday morning, so it could be a bit chilly. But we wanted to hopefully get the working cachers to come and be included. Between MrsSubman and myself having busy schedules...we decided on Feb 22, 2020. It's in the morning...this day happens to be the opening day for baseball's Spring training.... And it can get mighty busy in and near this park in the afternoon.
We will be having a raffle drawing.

Where: Surprise Park (hopefully under or near the ramada covering) ... south of Bell Rd (also east of the 303)

Parking: is easy on the north side of the Park (Bullard & Paradise La)
