In Lehigh Acres, cacher coftec79 had placed dozens of caches. While some were simple pill bottles, many were very creative, homemade caches that many enjoyed finding. Some were very tricky, and took more than one visit to get that smiley. I was inspired to create some similar caches of my own. At the end of 2019, for personal reasons, he archived all of his caches, leaving lots of “open spaces” in Lehigh (and a few in Fort Myers). I have begun placing many of my own close to those same locations. A few of them are recycled from these previous spots. I hope everyone enjoys finding new caches in these old, open spaces!
These "no man's land" areas in Lehigh are a favorite area for riding ATVs and other 4 and 2 wheeled vehicles. They are also great places for geocaches. I could hear some ATVs in the distance as I placed this cache. This is an easy park and grab. Like most of this area, plenty of room to pull over, and very few muggles.
