My grandparents used to take me to this overlook as a kid. It's a great hike and the field north of the overlook makes for great sledding in the winter (with enough snow). The cache is really easy to locate once you reach the top.
Note: The fields to the South of the cache are private property. DO NOT TRESPASS. Enter from the marked park entrance and small parking area. The trails can be a bit slippery from time to time.
