Geocache Description:


In memory of Susie who was more influential in her short life than most of us are in a normal lifetime in helping all of us be safe. She was a strong advocate for getting legislation passed regarding pedestrian and bicycle safety in the State of Washington.

The 1.3 mile Susie Stephens Trail weaves throughout the community, from river banks and recreational areas through downtown Winthrop. This phase of the multi-use trail connects with the town’s southern commercial zone, incorporating several pedestrian crossings
