Turtle’s Trail is a circular walk of about 4.5 miles and follows the Ridgeway for the first part of the loop and then picks up other footpaths/bridleways for the return leg if completed in numerical order.
We inherited this great series some years ago and had thought that it needed some extra caches to fill the gaps, especially where there are good reasons to stop! The recent introduction of a fence at the field edge along here seemed like a good opportunity to place one where there's a view.
Cache container is a small loc box
Parking for the whole series can be found at either start of the bridleway on Swan’s way (2/3 cars) or by the church in Nuffield about ¼ of a mile from TT09 - if you are just doing this cache then there's a bit of parking at the top of English Lane
