Geocache Description:

Wedged in a Willow

Today, Milli (the BugFinding Pooch and I wandered a little bit further east through the Eileen and John Holland Nature Sanctuary, to see what there was to see.  Eventually, we found ourselves in another Queenston shale stream valley.  The creeks that flow through these valleys always intrigues me, the sediment is different, clay, small flakes of shale, and of course larger flat cobbles as well.  In some instances, there is a greyish colour mixed in, from the then layers of grey shale in the more abundant red shale.  Of course, few people wander through these valleys, most of it is left to the deer and other wildlife.  That's whey we enjoy these tranquil areas so much.

Sit, relax, and take in the tranquility of the area.

At this location you are looking for a small lock n lock wedged in the crotch (8 feet up) in a willow.

This letterbox cache is at the posted coordinates.  It holds a stamp, that is not a trade item.  Please do not remove it from the container.

Happy Letterboxing!
