Having recently picked up a subscription to the NYT crossword, I figured why not give puzzle construction a shot. Turns out, it's not easy. I'll admit, the grid isn't the prettiest, there's some crosswordese acronyms that aren't common, and far too many 3 letter words. But let's just pretend that's all part of the plan, to add some speedbumps.
