Please bring some good swag. Welcome to the Forgotten Fence. It's a 20 L cache with a log, a pen, a pencil, and some toys for children. It's hidden near an old stone fence in the Grey Box Forest north of Eynesbury. The amount of lichen on the rocks indicates they've been in place for many years. The fence is longer than 500 m but is less than 300 mm high nowadays. There are gaps where the rocks have been removed, and you can see the remnants of a few old timber fence posts.
There are two good approaches. One is along a gravel track that starts at Eynesbury Road roughly north-west of GZ. The other starts at the end of Toorongo Road, roughly south-south-east of GZ. Yes, there is a wire fence along the north side of the old stone fence but there are gaps. You don't need to climb through it.
I've rated the cache a D2.5 because it's a mild challenge, but relatively easy for an experienced geocacher to find at GZ; and a T2.5 because the hike has elevation and undergrowth changes.
Watch out for snakes and wear sturdy footwear.
Remember to swap fair. If you don't bring something of value to swap please don't take swag from the cache.
